This bodyboarding video is a little blast from the past, rewinding back to September 28th, 2002. We dawn patrolled that morning knowing there would be waves but never expected it to be as good as it was!!! As it turned out, a solid sw windswell combined with a hurricane far offshore, and it went off all day long. NY Bodyboarding legends Tom Zaffuto and Matt Clark combine efforts on this video with a mixed bag of footage from their trips to Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and back home in New York. Jo Ro parties like a rock star, gets ambushed by eggman Chirs Nelson, and lays down the nasty dk attack, along with local talent both in and out of the water. This vid was originally released on NYBB in 2005.
We spent 3 weeks in Portugal in January '04 and lucked into some great surf up and down the coast. The bodyboarders at Supers pretty much own the place, and were some of the most accommodating locals I've ever encountered. The following bodyboarding video footage was all filmed by our friend Felipe. He owns a killer bar in the town of Peniche, the spot where all the bros kick back after a surf and watch bodyboard flicks while drinking Super Bock's and Sagres all night...
Jay Kubelle edited this video which features a slew of east coast bodyboarding footage from NY, NJ, and DE! Even though two out of those three are technically Mid-Atlantic states, Qbell calls this vid Northeast Randomness. All technicalities aside, this movie is packed with a variety of different bodyboard setups from a bunch of different swells.
